The special environmental consciousness of TETENAL is demonstrated by a determined policy to avoid risks as well as an environmental engagement exceeding the regulations.
Our target is to develop and manufacture products which can be produced, used and recycled safely and which ecologically compatible. The whole living cycle of all products is important for environmental protection. In this connection we have the maxim: avoidance is more important than reduction, reduction is more important than recycling.
Tetenal supports the world wide Responsible-Care-Initiative in preventative environmental protection.
This is the target with the raw materials, the manufacturing methods, the packaging materials, the products, transport and especially the products application.
In professional laboratories as well as in the photo finishing field it is already common to integrate many products in a nearly closed material cycle over a long period by complete recycling.
Low replenishment”-products and the using of replenishment chemicals enable an optimal raw material utilization and better recycling rates.
